2025 recruitment: Immigration, Civil Defence, Fire Service, others issue important notice to applicants

The FrontierThe FrontierAugust 2, 2025 3580 Minutes read0

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued an important notice to applicants who submitted their recruitment applications before the recent upgrade of its portal.

According to a press release dated August 1, 2025 and signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) AM Jibril, all application records submitted before the system upgrade are now accessible via https://update.cdcfib.gov.ng

“All records for applicants who submitted their details prior to the recent upgrade can now be accessed via https://update.cdcfib.gov.ng,” the statement said.

The Board advised applicants to verify their details and complete the submission process, noting that “upon successful completion, an application slip will be generated with the same Application ID previously generated.”

It, however, clarified that the portal is strictly for those who applied before the upgrade and does not accommodate new applications.

“If you have submitted a new application after the upgrade, your latest submission will override any previous entries and will not be visible on this update portal,” it stated.
