2027: PDP chairman vows to reclaim Kogi governorship from APC

•Muhammed Sanni Gambo

The Kogi State chairman of PDP, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has vowed to reclaim the state from the jaws of APC which, according to him, has lost its relevance in the state.

He, therefore, urged the electorate to remain faithful to PDP, citing the party’s strong structures and past achievements.

He described APC as “people living in a rented apartment” and predicts a landslide win for PDP in a free and fair election, reports Daily Independent.

Gambo said PDP is working hard to take over Aso Rock too, adding that the party’s structures are strong across the state and Nigeria.

“Kogi is a PDP state.

“Kogi people should remain faithful to PDP, stay peaceful, and support security efforts. 2027 is our time, no retreat, no surrender

“Kogi State is a PDP State. Our structure is still everywhere in the State. If you blow the whistle any day, anytime, in a free and fair Election, the PDP will win landslide.

“Let me say that the time for the APC government to pack her load from Lugard House is 2027 and it is a call for no retreat, no surrender,” he declared

Hon. Muhammed pointed out that the citizens of Kogi State have resolved to vote for the PDP in 2027 and has expressed optimism of a victory Party after the general election”.

“My appeal to Kogi people is to remain faithful and supportive of the PDP. Let’s remain calm and focused. This is not a time for distraction. Let’s be peaceful and law abiding. It is unfortunate that insecurity has overwhelmed us as a people. We as a Party are willing to collaborate in the area of security. This is because, there must be a State before political party”

While urging citizens to support the fight against insecurity by supporting Government strategies and policies, insisted that PDP has the capacity and wherewithal to oust APC in 2027.
