2027: Revolution imminent, it’s time for youth and women, says activist Abayomi Mighty

In his recent podcast, Abayomi Mighty has declared that the 2027 general elections will be determined by the collective will of the Nigerian youth. According to the 2027 youthful presidential hopeful, the growing frustration among young people due to economic hardship, unemployment, and lack of opportunities will be a decisive factor in shaping the political landscape.

The activist says that he believes that their hunger and anger will translate into a unified demand for change at the ballot box.

Speaking further, Abayomi emphasised that even the wealthy are not insulated from the country’s economic hardship, as they now find themselves spending substantial amounts to support their struggling friends and extended families.

He argued that this situation reflects the depth of the crisis, reinforcing the increasing number of Nigerians who can no longer afford basic necessities.

In his opinion, this shared economic struggle will motivate voters to reject the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) and demand new leadership in 2027.

Speaking on the political future of Nigeria, Abayomi declared that a “revolution of the thumb” is imminent —one where Nigerians will use their votes to remove the All Progressives Congress (APC) from power.

He described the upcoming election as a turning point, urging citizens to recognise their power to effect change through democratic processes. He insisted that the failures of the current administration have only strengthened the resolve of the people to reclaim their country.

Abayomi also called for increased youth and women participation in politics, stressing that they must rise beyond being mere voters to becoming active participants in governance. He urged them to contest for positions in the National Assembly, governorship, and deputy governorship roles, arguing that Nigeria’s transformation can only happen when fresh, progressive minds take charge of the nation’s affairs.

According to him, true representation of the masses requires leaders who understand their struggles firsthand.

Abayomi urged Nigerians to sustain their anger and unite for victory in 2027. He called for a coalition of determined citizens who are ready to challenge the status quo, mobilize for mass voter education, and resist any form of electoral manipulation.

He insisted that the future of Nigeria depends on the collective action of its people, and that 2027 presents a historic opportunity to redefine the country’s leadership.
