Impressive Super Eagles of Nigeria lost to hosts Ivory Coast in a thrilling Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final match at the Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan, this night.

The impressive Nigerian side lost 1-2 to the host nation. The Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong put Nigeria in the lead in the first half but the Elephant came into the second half with an equalizer by Franck Kessie and another goal by Sebastian Haller.
