The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced that intending pilgrims from Kaduna State are to pay the sum of N8,457,685.59 as fares for the 2025 Hajj.

A statement signed by the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Yunusa Muhammad Abdullahi, and made available to newsmen, explained that the intending pilgrims are expected to complete payment of the Hajj fare by January 31, 2025 to enable the timely remittance of all deposits to NAHCON.

The statement urged all intending pilgrims who had earlier made deposits with the agency to complete payment, warning that defaulters risk forfeiting their chances of embarking on the journey to the Holy Land. It noted that NAHCON has also fixed a deadline for remitting the Hajj fares.

The registration process is ongoing at the agency’s headquarters and in all 23 local government areas across the state.

“All intending pilgrims are expected to obtain a customised bank teller at their respective local government registration centers before making the payment,’’ the statement added.

It assured intending pilgrims of the agency’s commitment to providing excellent services to ensure an acceptable Hajj experience for all pilgrims from the state.

The Executive Chairman of the agency, Malam Salihu Abubakar, commended the state government for its support in ensuring the success of this year’s Hajj operation.

According to the statement, NAHCON has allocated 6,679 Hajj seats to Kaduna State for the 2025 pilgrimage.
