BBNaija star Faith Adewale opens up on life after disqualification, reveals ₦5 million loan, mental health struggles

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and medical doctor, Faith Adewale has broken his silence for the first time since his disqualification from the reality show, offering an honest look into the sacrifices, emotional challenges, and lessons that shaped his journey.

In a heartfelt monologue shared on his YouTube channel yesterday, Friday, October 10, titled “Faith is Dead,” the 25-year-old reflected on his time in the house and the intense personal battles he faced behind the cameras.

Faith revealed that he took a ₦5 million loan just to secure his spot on the show, describing the decision as a desperate but defining moment in his life, reports Saturday Independent.

“On December 24, I came back to Nigeria feeling lost and frustrated. I kept asking myself what I was going to do as a doctor in this country,” he said.

“But somehow, clicking that one link led me to Africa’s biggest reality show. I took a loan of ₦5 million and somehow, I made it.”

The Osun State-born reality show star opened up about struggling emotionally during the competition, admitting that he requested therapy multiple times while in the house.

“I screamed, argued, failed tasks, said things I shouldn’t have said, lost friends… I was overwhelmed and isolated,” he confessed.

“I knew I needed help, and I was brave enough to ask for it. I’m a work in progress.”

Despite the tough moments, Faith said his experience in the house taught him valuable lessons about resilience, teamwork, and communication.

He added that the outpouring of love from fans kept him going even at his lowest points.

“In the middle of all the chaos, something amazing happened I found friendship, hope, and family,” he shared.

“Outside those walls, people I had never met were shouting my name and spending their hard-earned money to keep me there. It was nothing short of a miracle.”

Faith’s raw and emotional revelation has since sparked conversation online, with many commending his vulnerability and courage to speak openly about mental health and the pressures of fame.
