•The celebrants, Daniel and Evelyn Ekong

The image maker of The Salvation Army, Nigeria Territory, Major Daniel Ekong, and his dear wife Major Evelyn, today, Sunday, May 3, 2026 celebrated 25 years of love.

•Cutting the anniversary cake

Major Daniel Ekong is the Territorial Public Relations Secretary (TPRS) of The Salvation, Nigeria Territory.

•Celebrants with their children 

The Ekongs are both officers of the largest denomination known internationally for its social services and are blessed with five children – Samuel, Utibe, Joy, Victory and Goodness.

•Renewal of marital vows administered by the Divisional Leaders, Majors John and Veronica Okpalaihedi 

The celebration segment of the programme held earlier today, Sunday, May 3, was anchored by Corps Sergeant Major Ntiense William at Ebute Metta Corps in Lagos.

The event was graced by the top hierarchy of the organisation: Commissioners Friday and Glory Ayanam, Lieutenant Colonels Nkachukwu and Juliet Ezeoyilimba, Lieutenant Colonels Abasido and Iboro Udongwo, Majors John and Veronica Okpalaihedi, together with other officers and soldiers of the organisation which is operated with military terms and ranks globally.

•Celebrants (C) with the Leadership 

The toast was proposed by the Editor, Captain Austin Ekpobo while the event was fully backed by the renowned brass band and songsters of The Salvation Army.

•The Territorial Commander, Commissioner Friday Ayanam prays for the celebrants and family, supported by the Divisional Commander, Major John Okpalaihedi (L)
