Social media influencer Priscilla Ojo has revealed that she trusts her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, to remain faithful despite the scrutiny and attention that come with celebrity marriage.

Priscilla, daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, spoke on her marriage during an interview on WithChude podcast with media personality Chude Jideonwo.

Addressing concerns about infidelity linked to entertainers, she said trust and discipline are central to their relationship.

“If he decides to go that route (cheat), it is his decision. But I trust him. He’s very disciplined,” she said.

She acknowledged that dating a music star attracts constant attention from admirers, but said personal values ultimately guide behaviour.

She noted that some women make strong advances, but said prayer and discipline help a man who knows what he wants to stay in control.

“Of course, it’s not easy with women throwing themselves, but it’s his discipline and decision. Don’t get me wrong, some women go to any length, that also happens, but if you both are prayerful and your man is disciplined and knows what he wants, I feel he will be in charge,” she added.

Public interest in the couple has been high since they went public with their relationship.

According to past interviews, the pair said they met in Rwanda and built their relationship privately before confirming it.

Their union was formalised in 2025 through a series of ceremonies tagged #JP2025, blending Nigerian and East African traditions.

The events included a traditional engagement in Lagos attended by Nollywood figures, ceremonies in Tanzania hosted by Jux’s family, and a white wedding in Lagos. Photos and videos from the celebrations trended widely online.

Since marrying, Priscilla and Jux have shared moments from their life together on social media, including travels and milestones, while maintaining strong engagement with fans in Nigeria and Tanzania.

In the interview, Priscilla also credited her mother, Iyabo Ojo, for raising her and her brother alone and instilling values that now guide her approach to relationships.
