Singer Timi Dakolo has encouraged men to speak openly about their struggles instead of suffering in silence.
The singer shared the message on X while announcing his upcoming song ‘Brotherly’, produced by Cobhams Asuquo.
His post comes amid ongoing public discussion about the marital issues involving media personality Frank Edoho and his ex-wife, Sandra.
Dakolo stated that bottling up emotions can be dangerous and that expressing pain is healthier than enduring hardship alone.
He emphasised a preference for seeing men express their emotions rather than face tragic outcomes, and warned against living with regret.
“Brotherly no die in silence, talk how e dey do you. I would rather see you in tears than in a coffin. Had I known no be prayer point. ‘Brotherly’ coming soon..Produced by @cobhamsasuquo,” he wrote.
In a separate post, Dakolo commented on the challenges of marriage and relationships.
He noted that marriage is not always easy and urged people in stable relationships to show gratitude and refrain from criticising couples who are going through difficulties.
“Marriage no easy o, if your own Dey work. Thank God and enjoy am. No mock people wey Dey struggle with am. Love and light,” he added.
