Some prominent women have expressed reservations over the failure of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to include qualified women in the composition of the Board of the North West Development Commission (NWDC).

The women include Asma’u Joda, Saudatu Mahdi, Maryam Uwais, Aisha Oyebode Amina Salihu, Mairo Mandara, Qadriyya Ahmed, Fatima Akilu, Rabi Jimeta and Habiba Mohammed, reports Daily Trust.

In a statement yesterday, the women said the promise of development through the NWDC can only be fulfilled if it embodies true representation and inclusivity.
