Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has officially launched the ‘Burna Boy Football Academy’ in Lagos.

This initiative is aimed at nurturing the next generation of African football talent by providing a structured training programme for young athletes.

The academy, which has already garnered significant attention online, offers training sessions three days a week, with each session lasting two hours.

It is designed to cater to two distinct age groups: junior boys aged 4–15 and senior boys aged 16–21.

To ensure broad accessibility, training locations have been established in Ikoyi, Surulere, Port Harcourt, and Abuja, allowing aspiring footballers from various regions to participate.

Recent videos shared on social media have given fans and followers a glimpse into the academy’s state-of-the-art facilities and rigorous training sessions.

The footage shows young footballers diligently working on their skills under the guidance of experienced coach.
