BBNaija: People killed goats to celebrate my disqualification – Tacha

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tacha has reflected on her life after being disqualified from the show in 2019.

In a recent podcast appearance on Honest Bunch, Tacha took a walk down memory lane, recalling the intense public reaction to her exit from the “Pepper Dem” season.

She revealed that people went as far as killing goats to celebrate her disqualification, due to polarised opinions about her during her time on the show.

“I’ve been called different types of names. I got disqualified from the reality TV show and people killed a goat, killed stuff,” she said.

Tacha’s disqualification stemmed from a physical altercation with fellow housemate Mercy Eke, who ultimately won the season.

The incident led to a significant shift in public perception about Tacha, with many branding her with various names.

Beyond her BBNaija experience, Tacha also spoke about the challenges she faced while living in the UK.

She shared that she spent a staggering £5,000 per month on rent in an upscale neighborhood.

The high cost of living in the UK left her struggling to connect with friends who were juggling multiple jobs to make ends meet.

“Before you sleep and wake up, it’s 30 days already, and you’re like, I have to start calculating,” she said.
