BBNaija S10: Kuture’s team slams cyberbullies

The FrontierThe FrontierSeptember 6, 2025 1722 Minutes read0

•Kuture

Management of Big Brother Naija housemate Kuture has come to his defense amid the barrage of negative comments, false accusations, and personal attacks he’s faced on social media.

In a statement, they emphasised that Kuture is a human being deserving of dignity, compassion, and respect.

The team highlighted the damaging impact of the relentless criticism on Kuture’s mental health, noting that behind his public persona lies a young man with emotions, dreams, and vulnerabilities.

They urged the public to extend kindness, empathy, and understanding, recognising that the individuals they discuss online are real people with feelings and families who are hurt when they are attacked.

Kuture’s management team stood firmly with him, calling for fairness and compassion in the way he is treated by the public.

They stressed that resilience does not mean the absence of pain and that Kuture feels the weight of the hurtful comments and false allegations.

The statement reads: “A Call for Humanity and Compassion

In the wake of recent conversations surrounding Big Brother Naija housemate KUTURE, we find it necessary to address the barrage of negative comments, false accusations, and deeply personal attacks that have been directed at him both online and within the house.

“KUTURE, like every individual, is first and foremost a human being-deserving of dignity, compassion, and respect. Yet, he has been unfairly ridiculed for his physical appearance, demeaned as “uneducated,” and even subjected to unfounded accusations of sexual harassment. These words are not just careless remarks; they cut deeply and leave scars that the public may never see.

“What often gets overlooked in the swirl of headlines and social media chatter is that behind the camera, KUTURE is a young man with emotions, dreams, and vulnerabilities. The relentless attacks on his looks and character have, at times, weighed heavily on his mental health. It is heartbreaking to witness how society can so quickly strip away empathy and humanity, reducing someone’s identity to baseless insults and lies.

“The cruelty he has endured serves as a sobering reminder of the power of words. Public platforms should never become arenas where character assassination and dehumanization are celebrated. To mock someone’s appearance or spread false allegations with no regard for the psychological harm inflicted is to forget the shared humanity that binds us all.

“KUTURE stands resilient, but resilience does not mean the absence of pain. Behind his smile and calm presence in the house lies a man who feels every jeer, every rumor, every attempt to diminish his worth. He carries this weight daily, even as he continues to give his best to the show and his journey.

This is a plea – not only for KUTURE but for all individuals navigating public life under scrutiny: let us not forget kindness.

“Let us not forget empathy. And let us never lose sight of the fact that the people we discuss online are real, with families who hurt when they hurt.

We stand firmly with KUTURE and urge the public to extend grace, compassion, and support during this challenging time. His humanity deserves recognition. His story deserves fairness”.
