Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, have graced the wedding venue of Nigerian Afrobeat singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and Chioma Avril Rowland.

The wedding has become a hot topic, attracting celebrities, politicians, and dignitaries from far and wide.

Obasanjo, a revered elder statesman and key figure in Nigerian politics, arrived early, lending a touch of prestige to the occasion, reports Nigerian Tribune.

Also in attendance is the Oni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, resplendent in traditional attire and his beaded crown, warmly greeting guests.

Governor Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s uncle, was also spotted at the venue, bringing a blend of family pride and political prominence.

Davido, a globally acclaimed artist with a string of hits and awards, and Chioma, a renowned chef and media personality, have been a beloved couple in the public eye for years.

Their love story, marked by affection and perseverance, has captured hearts, making their union a momentous occasion.

Davido had earlier confirmed that his wedding to Chioma would take place today, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, following their traditional wedding in 2023.

He also revealed that the value of Chioma’s engagement ring is equivalent to the price of two or three Rolls Royce cars.

As Davido’s wedding is by invitation only, a list of celebrities attending has been confirmed through their social media posts, adding to the anticipation and glamour of the event.
