BREAKING: Nollywood loses another star to death

The FrontierThe FrontierApril 2, 2024 5430 Minutes read0

One of Nollywood’s veteran movie directors and former Vice President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), Frank Okpokoro Vaughan is dead.

Mr. Vaughan, who had been battling illness for some time, reportedly succumbed to his condition earlier today.

His younger brother, Philip Okpokoro, a renowned cinematographer and the series director of Nigerian Idols, confirmed the sad news to our correspondent today.

A seasoned movie director, Frank Vaughan played a crucial role in shaping the Nigerian movie industry and mentoring aspiring filmmakers. His passing away is a significant loss to the Nigerian motion picture industry.

Tributes have continued to pour in from colleagues, friends, and fans who mourn the departure since the story broke out today.

As a friend of the House, The Frontier is deeply sad about the departure of one of Nigeria’s most prolific movie directors. Rest in peace Frank.
