The University of Ilorin has scheduled its 2026/2027 Pre-Admission Screening exercise, popularly known as the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, to hold from August 13 to August 15, 2026.

The university disclosed this in a statement issued by its Director of Corporate Affairs, Kunle Akogun.

According to the statement, the University’s Admissions Officer, AbdulKareem Kunle Sanni, advised candidates who have completed their screening registration to begin printing their examination slips from Monday, August 10.

Akogun quoted Sanni as saying, “Candidates who have completed their screening application should begin printing their scheduled examination slips from Monday, August 10, 2026.”

The university also reminded prospective candidates that the registration portal for both UTME and Direct Entry applicants would close on Sunday, August 9.

The statement read, “The portal for screening registration will officially close on Sunday, August 9, 2026.”

It urged candidates not to delay printing their examination slips once they become available.

The statement added, “Print their examination slips promptly once available to verify their scheduled test dates and times.”

The institution said the Post-UTME screening tests would take place from Thursday, August 13, to Saturday, August 15, 2026.

It listed the key dates for the admission exercise as follows:

Registration deadline for UTME and Direct Entry candidates: Sunday, August 9, 2026

Printing of scheduled examination slips begins: Monday, August 10, 2026

Post-UTME screening exercise: Thursday, August 13 to Saturday, August 15, 2026

The university advised applicants to complete all admission processes within the stipulated deadlines through its official admissions portal.

It was earlier reported that the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), held from Thursday, April 16, to Saturday, April 25, 2026.
