CAF, NewWorld TV sign broadcast deal ahead of AFCON 2024

The FrontierThe FrontierDecember 26, 2023 4420 Minutes read0

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a new broadcasting partner to televise its various competition ahead of AFCON 2024.

The African football governing body sold the rights of its competitions to Togo-based NewWorldTV from 2023-2025 seasons.

This means that the 2024 AFCON, CAF Champions League, CAF Confederations Cup and other CAF tournament will be accessed on New World TVs pay TV and free to air channels across the Africa continent.

CAF has stated that the deal is a revolutionary one aimed at making its competitions more affordable across Africa.

Early this year Confederation of African Football terminated the broadcasting media right signed between Saudi Arabia Bein Sports.
