Canada opens virtual job recruitment session for foreigners

The FrontierThe FrontierFebruary 2, 2026 3521 Minutes read0

Employers in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, are opening their doors to skilled foreign workers through a virtual immigration and recruitment event scheduled for Wednesday, February 11.

According to a post obtained from Newfoundland and Labrador’s website on Monday, the online session, which is open to all audiences, will run from 18:00 to 22:00 GMT (2:30–6:30 PM Newfoundland Standard Time).

It is expected to attract participants from multiple regions, especially professionals exploring migration and employment opportunities in Canada.

The event is part of a series designed to connect international talent with employers across the province.

Employers will share information about job openings and the support available to help skilled workers build a career and settle in Newfoundland and Labrador.

An excerpt from the event details on the official website highlights the purpose of the session:

“If you’re interested in building your career and a home in Canada, our virtual immigration events are here to help!

We’re bringing together employers from across the province of Newfoundland and Labrador that are looking for skilled workers like you.

“Register today, and you’ll learn more about opportunities and employers that may be of interest to you and get the information and connections you need to start the process.

“Upload your current résumé, and we’ll share it with companies hiring across Newfoundland and Labrador! Approved employers can search through the résumés we receive for qualified candidates and reach out to candidates with the skills and experience they need,” the province added.

Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the province’s official website for more details and registration information.
