Streamer and celebrity boxing match winner Carter Efe has expressed frustration over the delay in receiving his N50 million prize money.
It was earlier reported that Carter Efe secured the win against singer Portable in the highly publicised fight held on Friday.
Following the bout, Portable disputed the outcome, claiming the judges’ decision was predetermined by organisers to avoid paying out an alleged N23 billion in fan bets placed on his victory, reports The Nation.
In a recent social media livestream, Carter Efe directly addressed the organisers, stating that he had yet to receive the prize despite the risks he took during the fight.
He urged them to release the N50 million payment without further delay.
“Dem never give me my money oo. I never see N50 million ooo. I nearly die for that fight, I never see the N50 million. Make dem pay me the N50 million oo,” he lamented.
