EFCC arrests 120 suspected fraudsters, seizes 26 vehicles in Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 120 individuals suspected of internet fraud in Lagos State.

According to a statement posted on Monday via the official X handle of the commission, operatives from the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 carried out the coordinated operation across various locations in the state.

The operation led to the recovery of 26 exotic vehicles, alongside luxury jewelry, mobile phones, laptops, and several incriminating documents.

•Arrested suspects by the EFCC today

Among those arrested were 95 males and 25 females, all apprehended based on credible intelligence and sustained surveillance concerning their alleged involvement in cyber-related crimes.

The anti-graft agency noted that all suspects are currently undergoing further investigation and will be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigative process.
