Final journey: Wigwe, wife, son’s remains arrive in Rivers for burial

The remains of the late Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc, Dr. Herbert Wigwe, along with his wife, Chizoba, and son Chizi, have arrived in Isiokpo, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State for burial.

The local government chairman, Samuel Nwanosike, and Ikwerre people received the remains at the Airport Omagwa Roundabout, reports The PUNCH

Wigwe, his wife, son, and a former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, lost their lives on February 9, 2024, in a helicopter crash which occurred near a border town between California and Nevada, United States.
