A former spokesman of the Nigerian Army, Sani Kukasheka Usman, a retired Brigadier-General; Navy Captain L. Abdulkadir, the spokesman of Nigerian Navy Holdings and other senior military officers were in attendance.

While the first daughter, Sadiya Ismail Uba was given to Abdulhamid Magaji Bako, the second daughter, Dr Aisha Ismail Uba was handed over to Dr Ibrahim Ali Umar.

Expressing joy, Major General Uba said he was excited to have given out two daughters in marriage, while appreciating God and all attendees for making the programme worthwhile.

“I’m very happy to witness today, which is the occasion of Wedding Fathia for my two daughters. I give thanks to Allah for sparing my life to witness this day.”

“I also appreciate bosses, my mentors, my colleagues and my junior for gracing this occasion. May Allah continue to bestow more goodness upon everyone of us,” the Kano-born senior military officer said.
