•Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF)
The 36 State governors under the aegis of Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) have converged in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for the 11th physical meeting holding in the NGF Secretariat.
According to an agenda sighted by our correspondent, discussions would centre around the issues of Constitutional Amendment, Stamp Duty and Excess Crude Account (ECA), reports Daily Independent.
Other issues on the agenda are Petroleum Profit Tax, PPT and Royalties Accounts Reconciliation/Debt Net-Off, even as there will be updates on Africa Investment Forum (AIF) Market Days 2024.
The meeting scheduled to commence by 9pm (last night) has so far seen over 13 governors in attendance, including Ondo, Osun, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Zamfara, Kebbi, Kogi, Ekiti, Lagos, Imo, Bunue, Edo, Delta, among others.
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has arrived probably to speak on constitutional amendment.
