The House of Representatives is in a closed-door session with Finance Minister Wale Edun and FIRS Chairman Zacch Adedeji to resolve backlog of unpaid N500 billion debt to local contractors.

Feelers from Abuja revealed that the meeting was convened due to ongoing protests by local contractors following the completion of federal projects in 2024.
