Singer Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has clarified that he doesn’t smoke despite often posing with cigarettes in his pictures and videos.
In a recent interview with Soundcity, he revealed that he uses cigarettes solely for aesthetic purposes.
“One thing that my fans don’t know about me is that I don’t smoke. It’s just aesthetics,” he said.
Shallipopi also opened up about what inspires him to make music, citing hardship as his primary motivator.
He emphasised that the struggles of living in Nigeria drove him to create music.
“What influences me to do music is hardship. You don’t want to go through hardship in this country”, he said.
