A young practicing female accountant, Miss Ijeoma Onyekwere, has been inducted into the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
The induction of members into the accounting body took place yesterday in Lagos.
The Imo State-born accounting graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State, who works with a haulage company in Lagos said she was very grateful to God for seeing her through her dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant.
Speaking to The Frontier on how she feels about the induction, the soft-spoken professional accountant said, “I feel good and excited. I am happy at last I am a core professional. I thank God for making it happen. I must say that it was a tedious journey but God saw me through”.
On her next move in life, she said, “Well, I look unto God for everything concerning my life. He is my guide and my provider”.
Also in a Facebook post yesterday sighted by The Frontier, Ijeoma said,

“Today I was inducted into my noble professional body, ‘Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria’ (ICAN) as an Associate Chartered Accountant and I’m grateful to God, because he has afforded me a rare privilege which is projecting me to the pinnacle of my success.
“God without you I couldn’t have achieved this. You saw my relentless pursue in this career path and made it come through.
