•Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State

The Lagos State Scholarship Board has extended the registration deadline for its 2025/2026 Bursary and Scholarship Awards to March 6, 2026.

In a public service announcement issued by its Public Affairs Unit yesterday on its Facebook handle, the board said the extension provides an additional opportunity for eligible indigenous students of Lagos State in higher institutions across the country who are yet to complete their registration.

“Registration will now close on Friday, 6th March, 2026. This extension provides an additional opportunity for eligible applicants who are yet to complete their registration,” the statement read.

The board advised all interested candidates to take advantage of the window and ensure their applications are submitted promptly, stressing that there would be no further extension.

“Please note that there will be no further extension of the deadline or late registration. Also note that the Board will not entertain any complaints relating to registration after the closure date; therefore, all complaints should be forwarded to the Board within the open registration window,” it added.

The board also announced that the application portal for the 2025/2026 Lagos State Bursary and Scholarship Awards is open.

According to the statement, eligibility is strictly limited to newly admitted 2025/2026 students and previously admitted Lagos State indigenes who did not apply in previous years. Applicants must be enrolled in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

Interested candidates are required to apply via the official portal at www.lagosscholarship.org.
