The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Meranda, has officially moved into the Speaker’s office at the Lagos State House of Assembly Complex.
Speaker Obasa was accompanied into her new office by members of the State assembly, reports Channels TV.
A prayer session was held on her behalf, as well as other members of the House for smooth leadership of the assembly and collaboration among the Honourable members of the House.
Today’s plenary has been adjourned to a later date by the leadership of the house Rt Hon speaker Mojisola Meranda.
The former Speaker Mudashiru Obasa broke his silence on Saturday, insisting that he remains the Speaker until the due process is followed.
Mr. Obasa was removed by the majority of House members on January 13, 2025, following allegations of misconduct and financial misappropriation.
