Nationwide protests: Federal Executive Council to review actions today

The FrontierThe FrontierAugust 5, 2024 2440 Minutes read0

Amid the ongoing nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest, President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to preside over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) this afternoon.

The meeting is expected to start at 12 noon in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, reports Nigerian Tribune.

It follows the president’s national broadcast to attempt to discourage more protests but has been met with criticism.

The Council is expected to review the protest and determine the way forward in the effort of the federal government to ameliorate the economic hardship in the country and convince the protesters to end the action.
