Nollywood actress Tana Adelana mourns late colleague Alex Ekubo, says life is fragile

•Tana Adelana

Actress Tana Adelana has paid tribute to late actor Alex Ekubo, describing life as fragile and how quickly everything can change.

In an Instagram post, Adelana reflected on the fleeting nature of life, stating that people often get caught up in surviving and chasing goals, while postponing love, rest, and kind words.

She urged fans to love deeply, forgive quickly, check on their people, and live fully because tomorrow is never promised.

The actress revealed that the loss left her silent for a while and that it took time to find the strength to post.

She described Alex as phenomenal, kind, warm, and full of life.

Adelana added that even those who did not know him personally felt the impact of his death, noting the outpouring of kind words about him.

She wrote: “Life is so fragile. One minute, you’re laughing, making plans, promising to talk later… and the next, everything changes.

“Losing someone close has a way of forcing you to slow down and realise how fleeting this life truly is. We get so caught up in surviving, chasing, postponing love, postponing rest, postponing words we should say now. But tomorrow is never promised.

“Love deeply. Forgive quickly. Check on your people. Say the kind words. Take the pictures. Live fully. Because life can become a memory in the blink of an eye.

“It has taken me a long time to even find the strength to post this. Some losses leave you silent for a while.

“Rest well Alex, you were phenomenal! You were kind, you were warm, so full of life. Amazing in every sense of the word! Just look at all the nice things people have said about you… even those who didn’t know you have felt this loss..Rest brother, you will be missed more than words can explain”.
