Ondo guber election: System compromised – PDP candidate Ajayi accuses INEC of bias

The FrontierThe FrontierNovember 16, 2024 2090 Minutes read0

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Agboola Ajayi, has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of bias following reports of delays in the voting process across parts of the state.

Speaking to reporters after casting his vote, Ajayi expressed frustration over the slow process, which he claimed was a deliberate effort to discourage voters in the ongoing election, reports Saturday Tribune.

“It took me almost 10 minutes to cast my vote,” Ajayi said.

“The system has been compromised. It is sad that INEC cannot conduct an election properly in just one state.”

The PDP candidate urged INEC to address the challenges promptly to ensure the credibility of the electoral process.
