Osimhen rejects Al-Hilal’s N44 billion annual deal

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected a juicy N44 billion annual deal offered by Saudi Arabia’s top-tier football club, Al-Hilal.

Sky Italy reported that Al-Hilal is reportedly willing to offer Victor Osimhen £22 million a year tax-free, with a breakdown of £ 425,000 a week, which is equivalent to approximately ₦44 billion a year, but the Super Eagles striker seems to have his eyes set on plying his trade in Europe next season.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that the 26-year-old’s potential deal to join Al-Hilal is on the verge of collapse as he couldn’t agree terms with the Saudi club despite not having a future at Napoli.

Osimhen dug deeper into his books of technical tricks to rediscover his form during his season-long loan at Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals in his 32 games across all competitions and leading the club to win the Turkish League and the Turkish Cup.

Already, the Turkish giants are pushing to keep Osimhen at the club, but are struggling to meet the €75m release clause that Napoli insist on any interested club meeting.

Man United and Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Osimhen, although it’s understood his wages would be a major obstacle for any deal to get done.
