•Governor Adeleke (left) leads so far
Governor Ademola Adeleke seeking re-election under Accord Party has so far won 12 out of 30 local government areas, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has secured victory in five LGAs, as collation of results from yesterday’s Osun governorship election continues.
According to the result announced so far by the Local Government Collation Officers in the presence of Professor Joshua Ogunwole indicated that Adeleke won in 12 LGAs while AMBO won 5.
Adeleke won Ede South, Ife North, Ilesa West, Ifedayo, Ife Central, Orolu, Osogbo, Ori-Ade, Odo-Otin, Ife East and Ifelodun, reports The Nation.
While AMBO won in Boluwaduro, Ilesa East, Irepodun, Obokun and Atakunmosa West.
