Grow your feed ingredients
Maize and Sorghum instead of buying, farmers can grow their grains.
Sweet Potato and Cassava Peels—processed effectively, can replace expensive grains. Soybean and groundnut cake: Are good protein sources that can be locally cultivated.
Formulate your poultry feed
Mix locally available grains, legumes, and alternative protein sources.
Use a simple grinder and mixer to ensure uniform feed quality.
Avoid over-reliance on commercial feed by balancing nutrients with available resources.
Fermentation of feed
