Port Harcourt refinery to sell petrol at N1,030/litre — Retailers association

The FrontierThe FrontierNovember 29, 2024 3570 Minutes read0

The Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) has confirmed that petrol from the Port Harcourt refinery will be sold at N1,030 per litre, as disclosed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

In a statement released last night, PETROAN’s spokesman, Joseph Obele, stated that the NNPCL officially communicated the pricing to the association.

“NNPC Retail Ltd has officially announced the PMS price at the Port Harcourt refinery as N1,030 per litre,” Obele noted.

Additionally, he revealed that the product request portal is now open for bookings.

“It was also communicated to PETROAN that the product request portal was open for booking/request,” he added.

Obele further mentioned that PETROAN’s strategic pricing team is currently evaluating the best pricing options for its members. “We are open to patronising all the refineries in Nigeria,” he said.

The association also appealed to the NNPCL to consider reducing the petrol price further to foster a more cheerful Yuletide celebration for Nigerians.

It was earlier reported that the Port Harcourt Refinery resumed operations on Tuesday and announced the commencement of petroleum product truck-outs the same day.
