Real Madrid ready to renew Vinicius contract

Real Madrid are making their stance crystal clear when it comes to Vinicius Jr.’s future.

According to Defensa Central, despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his contract renewal, the Spanish giants have no intention whatsoever of letting their Brazilian superstar leave.

The report claims that Florentino Perez recently addressed the situation during a board meeting, and his message could not have been more direct.

The Real Madrid president insisted that the club “is not considering selling Vinicius” despite all the noise surrounding him and the speculation linking him to Saudi Arabia.

Real Madrid want to renew his contract

Instead of considering a transfer, the club’s plan is to reopen talks and push for a renewal once the current season concludes.

The rumours suggesting an imminent departure are said to be completely baseless.

Vinicius, who remains under contract until 2027, has never hidden his affection for Real Madrid.

His ambition has always been to continue at the Santiago Bernabeu and fight for the biggest honours in European football.

At just 25 years old, the Brazilian forward still has his prime years ahead of him and while there is currently no agreement over a new deal due to a notable financial gap, optimism within the club remains.

Those close to the discussions believe a renewal could be reached soon, securing his long-term future.

For now, Vinicius and his entourage remain calm, aware that his existing contract keeps him protected.

They also understand that time strengthens their position in negotiations.

Still, Real Madrid would prefer to close this chapter quickly to silence the constant speculation and to avoid the nightmare scenario of approaching the summer of 2026 with their star potentially able to leave for free just a year later.
