REVEALED: Real reason Vice President Shettima sent three APC governors to my residence – ADC chieftain

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Katsina State, Dr Mustapha Inuwa, has spoken on the visit of Governors Uba Sani (Kaduna), Dikko Umaru Radda (Katsina), and Dauda Lawal (Zamfara) to his residence.

In an interview with JBC Hausa, the ADC chieftain said the three governors visited on behalf of Vice President Kashim Shettima to seek the hand of one of his daughters in marriage for a relative of the vice president.

According to him, the marriage proposal was accepted, and the couple was joined in marriage the same day.

“They were sent by Vice President Kashim Shettima to seek the hand of one of my daughters in marriage. That was what brought them to my house. Even before then, we had known one another. “Fortunately, during the process, a request was made for the couple to be joined in marriage immediately, and we agreed. Both the bride and the groom are now married. That is what happened today. It has nothing to do with politics,” he said.

However, in recent times, Mustapha Inuwa has become the focus of interest among several political parties in the state following the crisis that erupted within the ADC over the party’s endorsement of consensus candidates.

Recently, the Katsina State Deputy Governor visited the ADC chieftain’s residence, while reports also indicated that stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state have been making moves to woo Dr Inuwa.

Political analysts believe the visit by the three APC governors to the ADC chieftain’s residence could carry broader political significance than publicly acknowledged. Many believe the full implications of the meeting may become clearer in the coming days.
