Vice President Kashim Shettima; former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, Governor Umar Dikko Radda, and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi, were among the dignitaries who attended the funeral service of the mother of former President Umar Musa Yar Adua.
Others were Datti Baba Ahmed, Senator Ahmad Lawal, former Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Senator Adamu Aleiro, business mogul Dahiru Mangal, emirs of Katsina and Daura, among others.
Funeral prayer of Late Dada Yar’Adua held in Katsina township stadium, Yar’Adua quarters and was led by Sheikh Aminu Yammawa.
