The federal government’s evacuation of Nigerians from South Africa has crossed another milestone as the fifth batch of returnees arrived in Lagos yesterday evening.
The Air Peace flight brought home over 180 Nigerians, after a technical issue prevented the aircraft from departing as scheduled yesterday, reports Channels TV.
With this latest arrival, the number of citizens evacuated from South Africa following the recent xenophobic attacks has now risen to about 1,000.
