•Omotola and Ooni of Ife

Actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has expressed gratitude to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, for his royal support of her latest film.

Omotola, who both produced and directed the movie ‘Mother’s Love’, shared an Instagram video showing the Ooni and his family enjoying a screening of the film alongside actor Olumide Oworu at the prestigious Delborough venue.

In her caption, Omotola thanked the monarch for gracing the occasion and highlighted the film’s deeper significance: “Thank you to the Ooni of Ife, The Ojaja, for coming to watch our movie Mothers Love at the Prestigious Delborough. Mother’s Love is Not Just a Movie. It’s a Cultural Experience.

Did you notice the Celebration of Culture in Mother’s Love?”

She encouraged fans to catch the movie, which is currently showing in cinemas nationwide: “Mother’s Love is still showing in Cinemas around you today. Join the Movement. Be a part of History.”

The film, Omotola’s directorial debut, explores complex themes of motherhood, family dynamics, sacrifice, and cultural identity.
