The Salvation Army, Ebute-Metta Corps set to unveil four milestones in Lagos

The Salvation Army, Ebute-Metta Corps, Lagos is holding a programme tagged “Service of Celebration & Launch” to unveil four milestones.

The event holds on Sunday, June 28, 2026 by 10 am at the Corps hall located at 116 Freeman Street, Ebute-Metta, Lagos.

According to a statement signed by the Corps Sergeant Major (Presiding Elder), Brother Nosa Omorodion and made available to The Frontier today, the service will mark several important milestones for the Corps as it enters a renewed season of ministry and community impact.

“Under the event motto: ‘Renewed. commissioned. launched. For Greater Impact!’, the Corps will celebrate and launch initiatives designed to expand its reach to youths and the wider community, ” said Omorodion.

Programme highlights include the launching of the Corps magazine –The Lampstand, dedication of the Junior Corps hall, commencement of the Youth Project, and unveiling of the church website.

Omorodion informed that the Territorial Commander and Territorial President for Women’s Ministries, Commissioners Friday and Gloria Ayanam will grace the event as Special Guests of Honour, while the Divisional Commander and Divisional Director for Women’s Ministries, Majors John and Veronica Okpalaihedi will be Guests of Honour.

“Come and witness a new beginning as the ‘Mother Corps’ steps into a renewed season of purpose, growth, and youth empowerment. All members, friends of the ministry, and members of the public are specially invited to be part of the experience,” the statement added.
