President Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos yesterday for a working visit, as Nigeria prepares for a low-key 65th Independence Anniversary.
This is contained in a statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga yesterday in Abuja.
Tinubu travelled to Lagos after attending the coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Oyo State.
While in Lagos, the President is expected to engage with key private sector leaders and senior government officials.
He will travel to Imo on Tuesday to inaugurate projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
As part of the Independence anniversary, the president will also commission the remodelled National Theatre, Lagos, which has been renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.
