•Road safety officials at scene of accident

Two students of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) on SIWES with the Industrial Training and Coordinating Unit (ICTU) have died, while others were injured in a fatal road accident along the Misau–Hardawa road in Bauchi State.

The Deputy Registrar, ICTU, Yahuza Haruna Gital, disclosed this in a statement yesterday in Bauchi.

He said the students were attached to the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), reports Daily Trust.

Gital explained, “The ghastly car accident occurred on 24th November 2025 along the Misau–Hardawa road while they were on an official assignment.

“The driver and one student from the Faculty of Management Sciences lost their lives, while other students from the Faculty of Environmental Technology, who sustained severe injuries, were hospitalised.”
