Truck drivers block Zaria road to protest rift with Customs officers •PHOTOS

Truck drivers brought traffic on Zaria Road to a standstill yesterday after a confrontation with officials of the Nigeria Customs Service.

The incident occurred at Kwanar Dawaki after customs officers reportedly shot at the tyre of a truck, forcing it to a stop, reports Daily Trust.

An eyewitness stated that the shooting of the tyre led to a serious accident and injuries.
