Wumi Toriola is second highest-grossing Nollywood producer for 2024

Actress and Producer Wumi Toriola has ranked as the second-highest grossing producer for 2024.

According to Nigeria Box ranking, her film, Queen Lateefah, earned a spot on the prestigious list.

Wumi Toriola tied with Judith Audu, grossing N365 million at the box office while Funke Akindele took the top spot with an impressive N1.124billion.

The actress, on social media expressed gratitude and congratulated fellow producers on their achievements.

“Grateful still. Congratulations to all the film producers. Queen Lateefah is sitting pretty on No. 2. E clear still. Congratulations @judithaudu. We did a thing,” she wrote.

She also celebrated successful collaboration with Captain of the Sea Productions, which was recognised as the highest-grossing Nollywood collaboration.

“Grateful for the healthy Collaboration For Queen Lateefah with @cinemaxng @iamopeajayi. Thank you for making it hitch-free and still healthy.

We hope for greater works in 2025,” she wrote.
