2027: Destruction of my billboards will not deter me from serving Oyo people, says ADC governorship aspirant Olooye Adegoke

•The destroyed billboard

An Ibadan Chief and governorship aspirant on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke (FCA) has raised the alarm and alerted the public over the vandalization of his billboards in parts of Ibadanland.

Olooye Adegoke, who is Aare Egbe-Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, in a press statement yesterday evening, said he was surprised that his billboards that had been erected in several parts of Ibadan were vandalised by political thugs who are afraid of his popularity and imminent success in the February 2027 general elections.

He explained that the billboards that had been installed since last year just to greet the people of Oyo State for Christmas and New Year, but less than 24 hours after they were changed to indicate his new political party, the ADC logo and name, were destroyed by people suspected to be political thugs on the instruction of their paymasters, who are afraid of his growing popularity and success in the coming election.

Olooye Adegoke only on Saturday, March 7, dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to join the ADC and advertised his new party on the billboards on Sunday, reports Daily Independent.

Olooye Adegoke said he is not going to be intimidated by any act of cowardice by some of his opponents in the coming election through acts of vandalisation and any other cowardly acts.

He said he is determined to serve the people of Oyo State come 2027, saying he remains the solution to all the problems bedeviling the state and that , by God’s Grace, he is going to secure victory in the coming Governorship election.
