BBNaija stars Liquorose, Prince Nelson win best dressed at 2025 AMVCA cultural day

The 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) Cultural Day was a vibrant celebration of African heritage with Big Brother Naija stars Liquorose and Prince Nelson Enwerem taking centre stage.

The duo won the Best Dressed Female and Male titles, respectively, impressing the audience and judges with their stunning traditional outfits, reports The Nation.

Liquorose’s elegant attire was designed by Prudent Atelier and showcased Yoruba culture with intricate beadwork, coral accessories, and a dramatic headpiece.

Prince, a former Mr. Nigeria, exuded regality in his intricately embroidered outfit, paying homage to Benin culture.

The winners each received a N1 million cash prize courtesy of Goldberg, the official sponsor of the fashion segment.

Other notable attendees, including Neo, Venita Akpofure, Saga, Yemi Cregx, and Uche Jombo, also made bold fashion statements on the red carpet, showcasing their unique interpretations of traditional African attire.

The AMVCA Cultural Day is a highlight of the awards ceremony, celebrating African heritage through fashion, food, and performances.

The event was held yesterday, Friday, May 9, at the Balmoral Convention Center in Lagos, bringing together celebrities and fashion enthusiasts to appreciate the continent’s rich cultural diversity.
