Nollywood actress Toyosi Adesanya and her husband, Bola Oyin-Adejobi, have announced the arrival of their baby girl born through surrogacy.

The announcement of the birth was first shared on Instagram by actress Abiola Adebayo today, who described the excitement of the moment and thanked everyone who had supported the couple throughout their journey, which began in 2024.

She also acknowledged the role of their doctor in the successful process.

She wrote: “I am a godmother again! Congratulations to all of us! Toyosi Adesanya and Bola Oyin-Adejobi just welcomed a bouncing baby girl through their surrogate mom.

“We’ll like to say a very big thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey since 2024, particularly our doctor, Dr Ivie of @the_fertility_doctor. Thank you for everything, doctor… you’ve been very supportive from day one of this journey.

“Aunty Toyosi is officially a mom today. My heart is full of gratitude. Thank you, Jesus.”

The joyous news also drew reactions from fellow Nollywood stars. Actress Iyabo Ojo shared her congratulations on Instagram, celebrating the blessing of the new arrival and wishing the family well. She wrote: “This is the Lord’s doing, and it’s excellent in our sight. Congratulations, my darling sis @officialadesanyatoyosi and your hubby @bola_oyinadejobi.

“May your bundle of joy bring more good tidings, peace, happiness, and prosperity to you and your household. Welcome to motherhood! God bless your family. Kisses to my little princess.”

Fans have since flooded social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating the actress’s journey into motherhood.
