After 3 mysterious deaths, community throws out house owner

The FrontierThe FrontierNovember 14, 2024 3662 Minutes read0

•Late landlord, Mr Moshood, popularly known as Baba Warisi

The residents of Faruku/Soka community in Ibadan yesterday evicted a House Owner, one Mr Kazeem Lawal popularly known as Alfa Asiku who was found with the list containing names of landlords listed for death.

It was gathered that three out of the listed names of the landlord have been buried in space of few days as they all died mysteriously, reports Daily Independent.

Alfa Asibu who was recorded on phone while on conversation with one of the landlords in the area informing him about the sudden death of the second person on the list was bragging that many landlords will still die if they dare him.

The Faruku Lakiti community at Soka area of Oluyole Local Government, Ibadan has however called for the eviction of Kazeem Lawal “Asibu”.

Alfa Asibu who is believed to be a strong juju man has been alleged to be bragging about how he will keep killing the people of the area.

Asibu who was yesterday draged to a live programme “Kokoro Alate” on Agidigbo FM Ibadan by the concerned landlords of the community was recorded on the live programme with the list containing the names of the landlord tagged to die and was asked by the anchor of the programme, Alhaji Oriyomi Hazmat to start praying for the rest names on the list that they will not die and he obeyed.

A WhatsApp recording was played on the programme where Asibu was heard jubilating over the death of a second person on the list, a woman, before the sudden death of the third victim, late Mr Moshood, popularly known as Baba Warisi.

Baba Wasiri’s death escalated the whole situation, as Alfa Asibu was allegedly to have confronted the late Moshood on Sunday that he will die this week and the man died on Tuesday morning after involving in a ghastly motor accident at Soka axis of Ibadan on Monday.

Worried by the sad occurrence and Asibu’s outburst and the manner at which he was reacting to all the allegations levelled against him, Alhaji Oriyomi got annoyed and concluded that too much juju power – “Paagun” is worrying and disturbing the man.

Asibu, however, got humbled on the programme and announced his regret over his threats to the surprise of the community leaders. He begged and prayed that no more deaths will be recorded again.

The community however concluded that Mr Asibu should not return to the community.

As at the time of filing this report, it was gathered that Asibu’s house has been demolished by the aggrieved landlords and residents of the community with the hope of avoiding his return to the community.

While speaking with our correspondent who monitored the whole incident, a resident of the community who spoke anonymously said, “Alfa Asibu bought half plot of land in this area but before we all knew what was happening he has built his house on a land that is even more than a plot of land, thereby encroaching on land beside his own, after he had completed his house, he even extended his territory beyond a full plot of land, and also got himself a space for his block making factory. This led to fracas between him and some other landlords and each time matter arose he always bragged about killing anybody that disturbed him about the land.”
