Audiomack has partnered with Felabration 2026, the annual festival celebrating Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s life and music.

The festival runs from October 13 to 19 in Lagos, with Audiomack+ subscribers eligible for limited VIP access and exclusive merchandise during the event.

Audiomack said existing and new subscribers who sign up during the festival period can claim VIP seats, subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Subscribers attending the festival can visit the Audiomack stand, where representatives will help them access the designated VIP area.

Audiomack said the partnership is part of its efforts to create experiences for its subscription members, including access to live events and exclusive offerings.

The streaming platform has also released a Felabration 2026 playlist featuring songs from Fela Anikulapo-Kuti alongside music from contemporary artistes influenced by his Afrobeat sound.

Commenting on the partnership, Charlotte Bwana, Vice President of Marketing at Audiomack, said Afrobeat’s influence on contemporary African music continues to grow globally.

“Afrobeat sits at the root of so much of the African music the world is dancing to right now, and Fela is a big reason why,” Bwana said.

“Our Felabration playlist is an open door back to the source. For our Audiomack+ subscribers, we wanted to go further and put them in the room where the culture lives.”

Held for nearly three decades, Felabration celebrates Fela’s musical legacy and the continued influence of Afrobeat.

The festival’s traditional venue, the New Afrika Shrine in Lagos, has hosted several Nigerian music acts over the years.

Audiomack said its Felabration playlist aims to connect Fela’s catalogue with contemporary artistes who carry elements of his musical influence into a new generation.
